  1. Dim the lights and turn off the television and computer an hour before bed as darkness promotes the production of melatonin, the ‘sleep hormone’
  2. Be regular about bed time, habits tend to stick
  3. Before bedtime write down all the things on your mind and pledge to address them tomorrow
  4. Reduce your intake of caffeine, sugar and spicy foods and reduce your meal size at night
  5. Hydrate during the day and stop your fluid intake one hour before bed time
  6. Get regular exercise!
