What are Super fruits?

Super fruits are a group of fruits so called because of their exceptionally high nutritional and antioxidant profiles which mean they offer benefits to the body beyond basic nutrition.

Due to the wide variety of health benefits, these fruits have been coined by some as ‘the future of health’. They also fall into the category of ‘functional foods’ as they are a food with exceptional medicinal potential.

The inclusion of antioxidant rich super fruits into the diet is particularly appropriate in light of increasing exposure to environmental toxins and reduced antioxidant content of foods. Ensuring you get enough fruit and vegetables to meet your antioxidant needs everyday can be a challenge even for the most disciplined food lover. Adding a super fruit to your self health routine provides added insurance for a long, healthy life.
